Safety Compliance, Security, Environmental Protection and Responsible Care®
VanDeMark Chemical Inc.'s first priority is to operate safely and in full compliance with all environmental, health, safety and security regulations (EHS&S). Major commitments are made toward continuous improvement in EHS&S performance. This includes installation of equipment to enhance safety and security, improve environmental performance, EHS&S training of personnel, and support of industry wide initiatives in safety, security and environmental performance.
VanDeMark is a member of the American Chemistry Council and the Synthetic Organic Chemical Association and participates in the voluntary EHS&S Management systems Responsible Care® and ChemStewards®.
As part of this program VanDeMark shows continuous improvement in EHS&S performance through a dedicated management system and performance metrics that track performance. These metrics are reported to the public through the American Chemistry Council and the Synthetic Organic Chemical Association. Future commitments include third-party verification of the systems in place to improve EHS&S performance and the metrics that measure that performance.
